Old Friends Get a Chance to Catch Up

John F. Kennedy was assassinated 45 years ago today. It seemed like a
good day to spotlight a step in the process which led to the historic
election of Barack Obama this month.

While Obama faces a difficult task, hopefully he can revive some of the
feelings and hopes that were so damaged by that awful day in Dallas and
the aftermath.

In my district, the Democrats caucused, on an icy cold night, in the
jury room of the Sedgwick County Courthouse. Here is one image from
